Quotation Marks: Not So Hot


Another good find on Twitter: @mforker says:
Inappropriate use of quotation marks- whyyyyy

Where does the chef go wrong? By putting the word "hot" in quotation marks, he's implying that the grill isn't really hot. Maybe he just pretends to cook on it.

Quick rule: Don't use quotation marks when you mean what you say.

Correction: Caution: Hot!
